Ongoing Club Projects
The Rotary Club of Georgetown has a long history of community involvement and service to helping needy and worthwhile causes. Here is a list of ongoing projects, grant recipients, hands-on involvement, recognitions, and events we support or participate in that serve our local community.

GEORGETOWN EATS
Not only does the Rotary Club of Georgetown financially support Friendship Place through the purchase of meals and needed equipment, but members of the club also serve our neighbors through the Georgetown EATS Program twice every month.
HAPPY FEET
Every year, our club provides a pair of new shoes and socks to children in need in Georgetown County.

OPERATION WARM COAT
Every year, our club provides a new warm, winter coat to children in need in Georgetown County.
DICTIONARY PROJECT
Each year, our club provides dictionaries to elementary students in Georgetown County.
BUS SHELTER
Our club provided and installed a bus shelter in Georgetown in 2016 to help provide shelter for our neighbors using public transportation. Several times each year, our club members take part in cleaning and maintaining the bus shelter.
ROTARY READER
Each year, our club members participate in the Rotary Reader program by reading to elementary students in Georgetown County.
ADOPT A HIGHWAY
Our club adopted Anthuan Maybank Highway and members participate several times a year in cleaning up the roadway and surrounding area.
We love to do our part in keeping Georgetown beautiful!
