Celebrating History, Service, and Giving Back: Highlights from This Week’s Rotary Club of Innsbrook

Our weekly meeting was filled with inspiration, recognition, and giving back! Here's a quick recap:

Guest Speaker:
We had the pleasure of hosting Bill Martin from the Valentine Museum, Richmond's first museum, founded in 1898 by Mann S. Valentine II. Dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the city's rich history, the Valentine continues to connect generations with the stories that make Richmond unique. Thank you, Bill, for an engaging presentation about the museum's ongoing work and legacy!

Recognition:
A big congratulations to Scott Fresco, who was honored for his generous contribution to the Rotary Foundation, earning the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow recognition! Thank you, Scott, for your commitment to "Service Above Self."

Giving Back:
In collaboration with the Interact Club of Glen Allen High School, we conducted a Toy Drive to bring joy to the children at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond. Together, we’re making the season brighter for kids in need!

Raffle Winner:
The much-coveted raffle prize went to none other than Ken Drake! Congratulations, Ken—luck was on your side today!

Rotary Foundation Update:
Joe Elia spoke passionately about the global impact of the Rotary Foundation, reminding us how Paul Harris' simple vision has grown into a worldwide movement of service and goodwill.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this week, from our inspiring guest speaker to our dedicated members and Interactors. Together, we’re making a difference locally and globally!
