As we mark Rotary Foundation Month, our recent meeting brought our members together for a club forum on our 2024-2025 goals, focusing on Community Engagement, Youth Empowerment, Global Outreach, and Member Engagement. Here’s a snapshot of some inspiring activities we’re gearing up for:
Community Service Accomplishments: Members made a meaningful difference by cleaning up the garden at Linwood Holton Elementary, supporting wheelchair basketball with Sportable, building a Little Free Library at Coal Pit, preparing meals at the Ronald McDonald House, and delivering literacy kits to Henrico schools. Our ongoing dedication also brought support to Meals on Wheels, backpack distributions, and heartfelt letters of encouragement to first responders.
Vocational Service: Our work with Interact Clubs at Glen Allen and Henrico PAL, along with the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, is empowering young leaders and fostering community connections.
International Service: This year, we’re honored to support projects abroad, including upgrading a school in Madurai, India, and participating in the Healing Little Hearts initiative in Uganda. We’re also anticipating visits from the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente and engaging in vocational training initiatives.
Member Socials: From our 35th-anniversary celebration with alumni to a festive Diwali Gala and happy hours at Waygone Brewery, our members have enjoyed numerous gatherings, strengthening our club’s camaraderie.
Rotary Club of Innsbrook is committed to making a difference locally and globally. Thank you to all members who contribute to our shared vision!
