Rotary Club of Innsbrook Partners with United Way to Deliver Literacy Kits Across Henrico County

The Rotary Club of Innsbrook, in collaboration with the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg, has successfully delivered Literacy Kits to pre-assigned schools throughout Henrico County. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to empowering local students with the tools they need to excel in the classroom and beyond.

Throughout the year, our members, in partnership with United Way, work diligently to collect and assemble thousands of Literacy Kits. Each kit is thoughtfully curated to support early childhood education, containing essential school supplies, an age-appropriate book, and helpful resources for families. These kits aim to ensure students start kindergarten prepared and reach grade-level reading proficiency by third grade.

This year’s Literacy Kit project highlights the power of collaboration. By combining efforts with United Way, we extend the reach and impact of our initiative, providing critical support to students across the region.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, donors, and partners who make this initiative possible. Together, we are shaping brighter futures for children—one book, one supply, and one kit at a time.
