Rotaplast Needs Volunteers for India
The District 7450 Rotaplast Committee just announced it will participate in the Rotaplast International medical mission to Nagamangala, India, from November 25 to December 10, 2023. Rotaplast is looking for Rotary volunteers to join the Committee on a long-term basis. Contact [email protected]

According to a Rotaplast spokesperson, “Whether on a mission or raising public awareness and funds, being part of a team dedicated to saving the futures of children is a life-changing experience. When on missions, Rotarians support the medical staff in a variety of ways that include supervision of the children’s ward, sterilizing instruments, patient transportation, medical records maintenance, and other meaningful tasks.“

The District 7450 Rotaplast Committee has sponsored missions annually for over 27 years, sending Rotarians to countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, South and Central America. The pandemic has held the committee back since early 2020, but Rotaplast International has six missions scheduled for 2023, and District 7450 is participating in the one to Nagamangala, where the need for free corrective plastic surgery is especially great.
