Stuff The Cruiser Food Drive

Saturday was an incredible day at the Stuff the Cruiser food drive! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support the Annandale Christian Community for Action's (ACCA} Food Pantry.
The energy and generosity were truly inspiring. Special thanks to the Police Officers of the Mason District Station for their partnership in making this event a success. Together, we collected 2419 pounds of non-perishable food, stocked shelves and made a meaningful difference in our community. The Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club contributed an additional $1000 to the ACCA Food Pantry to purchase perishable food as needed. Let's continue to spread the spirit of giving!

Our Club Continues to Support the Homeless

This week, The Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club ordered 12 more kitchen sets for New Hope Housing.  During the spring, many individuals move out of shelter beds provided over the winter months into long-term housing. These sets will be a huge help!  To go along with the kitchen basics, generous Rotarians are donating kitchen and bathroom consumables like detergent, sponges, paper products, trash bags, toothpaste, and shower curtains. Thanks to all who are pitching in to make this project a success! If you or your organization would like to donate supplies, please email us at [email protected]

Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club Donates Hygiene Kits to the Baileys Shelter

On January 25th, the Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club delivered six cases (72) of Warm Hygiene Kits and two cases of men's and women's underwear to the Baileys Shelter which is managed by New Hope Housing. The shelter has an urgent need for items such as these and our members are happy to provide the much-needed items. The funding for this donation was provided by funds from the club's recent Classic Mustang Raffle.  We thank the members of our community who purchase raffle tickets each year. With your help, we can continue to make a difference; here at home and around the world.

New Hope Housing - Grant Update

Using funds from our Rotary District Grant, the club recently purchased 15 coffee makers to supplement our kitchens in a box already delivered to New Hope Housing.  These items will be greatly appreciated by individuals and families getting a fresh start after a period of homelessness.  This is especially welcome around the holidays.  Club members will have an opportunity to contribute kitchen consumables early in the new year.

Rotary Club Donates Pajamas to Support the Mason Station Police Officers Annual Pajama Drive

Officers from the Mason District Station are partnering with our community for its annual pajama drive. The officers asked our community to provide NEW pajamas, slippers and socks to children.

Pajamas bring a feeling of comfort and familiarity at bedtime for children. However, for less fortunate families, pajamas are a luxury. Officers have found when children were taken shopping, many were excited about getting to buy pajamas, something they normally did not have!

The Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club is pleased to donate funds for the purchase of new pajamas for this wonderful community/police outreach program.

Annual Toy Drive

Every year at this time, Bailey’s Crossroads Rotarians buy toys for less fortunate children in the community.

On Saturday, December 2nd, Rotarians, joined by Police Officers from the FCPD Mason Station shopped for toys, pajamas, and socks. The toys will be wrapped by community volunteers and distributed by Mason Station Police Officers to children in several areas of the Mason District on December 16th and 17th.

Funding for these events was made possible by our annual Classic Mustang Raffle and other charitable donors. Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts. Your donations will definitely bring a smile to the faces of many grateful children this Holiday Season.

Annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution

A Proud moment for Bailey's Crossroads Rotary Club! Last Saturday, we joyfully contributed 100 Thanksgiving meals to local families. Gratitude to all involved—thank you for making a difference in our community.

New Hope Housing

The Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club recently accepted a check for $2300 from District leaders to support our project with New Hope Housing.  Our goal is to help formerly homeless individuals and families establish themselves in safe, secure housing.  We are focusing this year's efforts on kitchen set-ups. We call this "kitchen in a Box". We have ordered our first round of "Kitchens in a Box".  Twelve kitchen sets were delivered on November 2.  New Hope Housing sent this photo of part of the shipment along with their sincere gratitude.  We're off to a great start!
