This Week's Speaker...
Valerie Danforth, BAG (Bridging a Gap) BAG was established during the 2013/2014 school year through a grant from the St. Luke’s Foundation. Our mission is the provide weekend bags of food to students in the Federal Way School District who are experiencing food insecurity. We partner closely with the FWPS. School staff identify the students to participate in the program. Since its inception, through the support of community organizations, the Federal Way Public School District and the City of Federal Way, we have grown from serving 7 students at one school, the first year, to providing 268 bags of food per week to 19 schools in the district. |

Spring Fundraiser
It's RAFFLE TIME! We will once again hold a spring raffle to benefit the club. The club is asking every club member to be responsible for selling raffle tickets to support the annual club expenses. Yes, a portion of your annual dues already support the club expenses, but proceeds from the raffle will allow the club to have a little flexibility in how we operate. This extra little bit will allow us to participate in training, appreciate our volunteers, and cover those incidentals that always arise. Your help is very much appreciated! THANK YOU to our Raffle Sponsors: Bill and Karen Feldt, Umpqua Bank, and Firehouse Pet Shop! Raffle tickets will cost $20 each, and there will be THREE chances to WIN! The drawing will be held at the Farmers Market on May 11, 2024, and buyers do NOT need to be present to win. The prizes are
