WELCOME

This is the first in a series of newsletters shared with all Rotary Club members in District 6150 as we focus this year to Reach Within to Embrace Humanity.

THANKS TO ALL Phyllis and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your warm welcome. Thanks to those of you who attended the installation banquet. It was special to have so many of you there. The enthusiasm, fellowship, eagerness, and excitement that have already been shown to us will be the forces that drive this district to another successful year.

A big thank you goes to the Rotary Club of Heber Springs and the Installation Committee members for an outstanding job of putting together the District Governor induction ceremony. Those members are Yvonne Harvey, Gina Herget, Jo Ann James, Phyllis Roberts, Sharon Thompson, Don Rodgers, and Mark Brugner. That ceremony will always hold a special place in my heart.

 I would also like to thank PDG Bob Warner and PDG John Vandiver for helping with my Installation Ceremony and all the Past District Governors who attended. PDG Owen Lusk, thank you for the presentation of the District Governor Banner. The Rotary Club of Heber Springs will display it proudly. Thank you to all the Rotarians and guests who traveled to Heber Springs.

I have had an exciting first month as your governor. I have visited eleven clubs so far! It is amazing to hear all the plans for service projects, fundraisers, and membership recruitment.
