PETS, SETS and AGs, Say What?
It's almost Spring and the Rotary acronyms are already in bloom!
Several important meetings have been scheduled to help incoming club leaders prepare for their new responsibilities. These include Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (PETS), Assistant Governor Training and Secretary-Elect Training Seminars (SETS).
Click the "read more" link below to learn more about these important Rotary education events.
PETS is held each March in conjunction with our three partner Rotary Districts 6110, 6170 and 6190. Nearly 200 club leaders from 5 states meet, learn and are inspired by top notch speakers and break-out groups focused on sharpening the skills needed for success.
Presidents-elect are required to attend PETS and many clubs also send their Presidents-Nominee and other officers in line to serve as club president so they have two or more years of training and better continuity of leadership. To learn more and to register visit the
http://www.MidAmericaPETS.org web site.
Assistant Governor Training (AG) and SETS events are being offered on three dates around the District. We'll be in Searcy - February 5, Jonesboro - March 5 and either West Memphis or Forrest City - March 12. Details have been emailed to club and district leaders. Additional materials are available on the
District web site with more coming soon.
